Charlotte Bobcats (-1.5) @ Philadelphia 76ers Weds. Mar. 10th 7:05pm EST Total: 189
Coming into this NBA season the Charlotte Bobcats were still considered to be one of the worst teams in the Eastern Conference despite having future hall of fame head coach Larry Brown running the show.
Even though one of the most successful NBA head coaches in Larry Brown, who has taken multiple NBA teams to the playoffs, is patrolling the sidelines for Michael Jordan’s Charlotte Bobcats, there still hasn’t been much hope that he can turn the franchise around.
Despite the doubts surrounding the future of the franchise, this season has been arguably the best season in the team’s history so far as the Bobcats seem to be playoff bound.
As of right now, the Charlotte Bobcats have a 31-31 record coming into Wednesday night’s matchup against the Philadelphia 76ers and have won three straight games against the defending NBA champion Los Angeles Lakers, Golden State Warriors and the Miami Heat.
Despite having an ugly road record this season at 8-23, which is amongst the worst in the league, Charlotte Bobcats are one of the best teams at home with a 23-8.
Wednesday night’s game against the 76ers will be played in Philly, which could be the reason for the -1.5 point spread, but the Bobcats are playing extremely well at the moment and the Philadelphia 76ers are one of the worst teams in the league right now with a 23-40 record.
Unlike the Charlotte Bobcats, the Philadelphia 76ers lost their last game against the lowly Indiana Pacers and have dropped seven of their last 10 games.
With that being said, Charlotte Bobcats are in a good position to finally get back over .500 with a win tonight against Andre Iguodala and company.
As of right now, the Bobcats are favored to win this matchup with a -1.5 points spread.
Take the Bobcats at -1.5.
