19th March 2010 in Free Picks, NBA Betting

Cleveland Cavaliers (-10) @ Chicago Bulls Fri. Mar. 19th 8:05pm EST Total: 206

The Cleveland Cavaliers are coming off their NBA best 54th win of the season over the lowly Indiana Pacers and have won the Central division for the second straight year in a row.

With the end of the NBA regular season only 13 games away for the Cleveland Cavaliers, LeBron James and company will have their sights solely set on the NBA’s best record heading into the playoffs as they will get home court advantage during the most important games of the year.

As of right now, the Cleveland Cavaliers owning the league’s best record heading into the postseason is looking more and more likely as they are three and half games ahead of the defending NBA champion Los Angeles Lakers.

Even though it looks pretty promising that the Cavs will have the NBA’s best record heading into the playoffs, they will still have to avoid falling into a slump over the last 13 games.

Over the last games of the regular season for the Cavs, LeBron James and company will have to go head to head against some of the league’s best teams like the San Antonio Spurs, Atlanta Hawks (twice), Boston Celtics and the Orlando Magic. Those four games alone are four potential losses, but before they face off against these NBA heavyweights they will have to deal with the likes of Derrick Rose and the Chicago Bulls on Friday night in Chicago.

The Cavs might be having one of their best seasons in franchise history, but the Chicago Bulls can’t say the same as they are currently out of playoff contention with a 31-36 record and a nine game losing streak coming into their matchup with Cleveland.

I really can’t see the Chicago Bulls getting the best of LeBron’s squad on Friday night as the Cavs should hand them their tenth straight loss of the season.

Take the Cavs at -10.
