There is more than a month left in the NBA regular season and all the title contenders in possible playoff teams are starting to play at a high level in order to get the highest seed possible going into the NBA playoffs.
The defending NBA champion Los Angeles Lakers might be struggling right now with three straight losses coming into Monday night, but Mark Cuban’s Dallas Mavericks on the other hand are playing their best basketball in recent memory and seem to have completely separated themselves from any other team in the Southwest division with a five game lead coming into their Monday night matchup against the lowly Minnesota Timberwolves.
With 11 straight wins the Dallas Mavericks are by far the hottest team in the NBA right now and with their upcoming schedule looks like they will improve that to the least 15 straight wins before they face off against the Boston Celtics in Dallas on March 20th.
Until then, Dirk Nowitzki and company will face off against some of the worst teams in the league starting off with the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday night, arguably the worst team in the league and the New Jersey Nets on Wednesday night and finish out the week against the New York Knicks on Saturday night.
As of right now, the spread for this game has the Dallas Mavericks with a six point advantage at -6. I really don’t see any way that the Dallas Mavericks can lose this matchup against Al Jefferson and his squad as Minnesota Timberwolves come into this game with five straight losses.
Monday night game and Minnesota should be over by the third quarter as they will most likely be nothing but reserves in the fourth quarter and the Mavericks will go onto the 12th straight win.
