Dallas Mavericks (+1) @ Charlotte Bobcats
Mon. Mar. 1st 7:05pm EST
Total: 191.5
The Dallas Mavericks are on a roll and arguably the hottest team in the league right now with seven straight wins coming into Monday night’s game against the Charlotte Bobcats. It seems like the trade before the NBA trade deadline which centered around small forward Caron Butler and center Brendan Haywood has really started to pay off Mark Cuban’s Mavs.
With a 4 1/2 game lead ahead of the San Antonio Spurs in the Southwest division, the Dallas Mavericks look like they have the division hand for the time being as long as they don’t slip into a slump at some point in the second half of the NBA regular season.
A massive dominated as of late with wins over very good teams like the defending NBA champion Los Angeles Lakers, Phoenix Suns, Orlando Magic and the Atlanta Hawks.
Not only are these wins very impressive dormouse team that was struggling going into the All-Star break, but it is becoming more and more evident that the Dallas Mavericks are legitimate title contender in the Western Conference this season and will be a force to be reckoned with in the West when playoff time rolls around in April.
On Monday night, the mouse will head-to-head against the up and coming Charlotte Bobcats, but despite being the underdog, I believe Dirk Nowitzki and company will come out on top in this one convincing victory over young Charlotte team.
As of right now, the Charlotte Bobcats are favored to win this matchup against the Dallas Mavericks with -1 point spread, but even though the Bobcats are a very good home team this season, I believe the Mavs are on a roll and will make it eight straight wins.
Take the Mavs at +1.
