Indiana Pacers @ Dallas Mavericks (-9.5)

This season the Indiana Pacers are falling further and further out of contention in the Eastern Conference after having a promising season last year with All-Star Danny Granger leading the way, but this year they have slipped back into mediocrity in the East with one of the worst records in the NBA at 19-36.
The Pacers are coming off an impressive win over the Houston Rockets 125-115 Saturday night, where Danny Granger had one of his best games of the season with 36 points on 12-17 shooting and seven rebounds, but they will be going into Dallas to play the revamped Mavericks squad led by Dirk Nowitzki.
Before the NBA trade deadline it looked like the Dallas Mavericks were falling fast as they had lost six of their eight games with their only two wins against the lowly Golden State Warriors which really isn’t saying much at all. This prompted controversial Mavs owner Mark Cuban to start looking for trade possibilities in an effort to compete amongst the best in the Western Conference like the defending NBA champion Los Angeles Lakers and the Denver Nuggets.
Fortunately, Cuban got a steal of a trade when he shipped Josh Howard and Drew Gooden to the Washington Wizards in exchange for Caron Butler, DeShawn Stevenson and Brendan Haywood.
Needless to say, the addition of Caron Butler alone was enough to drastically improve the Dallas Mavericks, but Haywood also gave them a serious upgrade in the paint.
With that being said, the Indiana Pacers will get a run for their money against the Dallas Mavericks who have recently changed things around as they come into this game with a three game win streak.
As of right now, the Mavs are favored to win this matchup by a -9.5 point spread. Take the Mavs at -9.5.
