29th July 2010 in NFL Betting, NFL Power Rankings

The NFL has had the same leading receiver (Andre Johnson) for the last two years, and now you can bet on a potential three-peat.

Here are the latest 2010 leading receiver odds from Belmont.ag.

Johnson (6/1) is not a surprising favorite. He still has Matt Schaub throwing him the ball and there’s not another great wide-out on Houston to take away his catches.

Larry Fitzgerald is getting a lot of play at 7/1. Anquan Boldin has been shipped to Baltimore and that means more available balls. The problem is that Matt Leinart is the likely new quarterback and he’s no Kurt Warner.

Brandon Marshall (8/1) has as much talent as any receiver in football. The former Bronco is now in Miami, and he must improve his 11.1 yards per catch if he has any value at these odds.

Some value picks are Green Bay’s Greg Jennings (12/1) and Philadelphia’s DeSean Jackson (25/1). Jennings is the focal point of the Green Bay passing attack, which should be very good. Jackson will quickly develop a bond with the underrated Kevin Kolb.

Stay away from Detroit’s Calvin Johnson (10/1) and New England’s Randy Moss (10/1). Detroit quarterback Matthew Stafford still has a long ways to go to prove himself.

Moss should benefit from Wes Welker (knee) being less than 100 percent, but he is clearly on the decline at 33-years-old.
