It is that time again in the NFL, playoff time and we are coming up to the first weekend of the NFL playoffs in Wildcard Weekend with the key matchup being between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Dallas Cowboys in Texas!
Last weekend these two NFC heavyweights went head to head with the NFC East title on the line and the Dallas Cowboys came out victorious as they were able to shutout their arch division rivals 24-0 which is their second straight shutout in as many weeks.
Over the last half decade or so the Dallas Cowboys have been a very talented football team with great expectations, but they just haven’t been able to get it done in big games when everything is on the line like it was last weekend. With the win over the Philadelphia Eagles last weekend the Cowboys finally were able to prove their doubters wrong as they just dominated the Eagles with an impressive performance on both sides of the football.
This weekend the Dallas Cowboys will once again play their division rivals on their home field at Cowboys Stadium in Texas. As of right now, the Dallas Cowboys are favored to win this matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles by four points and with the way Tony Romo and company are playing right now I believe that Dallas will be the team to beat in the NFC and the Eagles will be at their mercy this weekend.
The Eagles are by no means a mediocre football team and always seem to excel in the playoffs with Donovan McNabb behind center, but this is looking more and more like the Dallas Cowboys’ year as I believe they will beat Philly for the third consecutive team this weekend and cover the four point spread.
