Congratulations to the New York Giants as they came away from Super Bowl XLVI as champions, beating Tom Brady and the Patriots for the 2nd time in four seasons. Eli Manning has now solidified his status among the games’ elite quarterbacks; currently and for all time. Two Super Bowl wins puts him ahead of his big brother Peyton and he now has more championships than other elite QB’s like Aaron Rodgers and Drew Brees.

The 2011-12 NFL season was a good one ATS here at Belmont.com with our weekly picks and previews, although we have seen better years in capping totals. For now though, the off-season is upon us and without a lockout to worry about, it should be a “normal” one away from football beginning with free agency in early March.
