The 2011-12 NHL regular season is coming to a close as playoff races are really heating up in both conferences. The West has four Pacific teams fighting for a potential three spots while Calgary still looms on the outside as well. In the East, Pittsburgh and the Rangers clash for 1st overall and the 8th spot is up for grabs between Washington, Buffalo and Winnipeg.
