Do you love fantasy football? We thought you did and now you can wager on offensive stats at Belmont.ag like the NFL’s leading passer!
Note there are also odds available for Most Rushing and Most Receiving yards.
Drew Brees (5/1) was sixth in the NFL in passing yards last year (4,388). That was after sitting out the final week in a meaningless game. He broke the 5,000 yard mark in a league-leading effort in 2008. That’s why he’s the co-favorite this year.
Peyton Manning (5/1) finished second in the league last year at an even 4,500 yards. That was his highest total since 2004.
Aaron Rodgers (6/1) is out to lead the Green Bay attack after throwing for 4,434 yards. That doesn’t even include the 423 yards he put up against Arizona during Wild Card Weekend.
Matt Schaub provides a lot of value at 8/1. He led the league last year (4,770) and will have Andre Johnson and host of other targets to throw to again.
Some value picks are Dallas’ Tony Romo (12/1) and New York’s Eli Manning (20/1). Romo has very good receivers and a great tight end in Jason Witten. He was third in the league in passing yards (4,483) and has upside from there.
Stay away from Minnesota’s Brett Favre (15/1) and Cincinnati’s Carson Palmer (25/1). Palmer may have shiny new receivers, including Terrell Owens, but his arm is just not the same as before his elbow problems.
