The New York Knicks will be without a doubt the one team making the moves this summer as they will have the most money to wheel and deal with come July 1st. Not only with the Knicks be able to sign a player like LeBron James to max deal, but they will also be able to sign another big name free agent to play alongside him like Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh and or Joe Johnson.
With that being said, the New York Knicks seem poised to become a serious force to be reckoned with in the Eastern Conference once again, but they do have some big name players and All-Stars on their current rosters that they will have to make a decision on as well this summer.
The one player that the Knicks are most concerned about is All-Star center David Lee. Not only is Lee arguably one of the best big men in the league, but he is also a free agent and could be a vital piece to the puzzle for the Knicks if they decide to keep him.
Another big name player is two-time scoring champion Tracy McGrady who the team acquired via trade during the regular season.

New York Knicks- Now it is no secret that McGrady is on the downside of his career and as injury prone as come in the league, but he still has significant value and can help an NBA franchise.
Obviously, the Knicks have their sights set on the big fish this summer and will think of McGrady as a second option, but the former All-Star has already said that he will take a drastic pay cut to stay with the team so the Knicks can go after LeBron and another big name free agent.
It will be interesting to see what happens with McGrady, but I believe if he doesn’t re-sign with New York that he will officially call it quits, at least until the playoffs when a playoff bound team calls his number.
