Last season in the NFL the Tennessee Titans came into the year with high hopes of competing for a Super Bowl title as they were coming off one of their most successful seasons in recent memory. With a veteran quarterback, arguably the best running back in the game and a lockdown defense, the Titans were a force to be reckoned with in the AFC, but for some reason just couldn’t get it going early in the season and lost the first six games of the season.
Even though the Titans seemed headed for a nightmare season, head coach Jeff Fisher decided to put quarterback Vince Young back in the spotlight by starting him over veteran Kerry Collins. This was a highly criticized move at the time, but it turned out to be just what the doctor ordered as the Titans went on to win eight of the next ten games with Young behind center.
Needless to say, Vince Young began to make a name for himself once again as he seems to be back to Pro Bowl caliber form and the new starting quarterback moving forward. Unfortunately, despite winning eight of their last ten games, the Titans were unable to get back into the playoffs, but the future looks bright.
Well, just when Vince Young started to get back into the good graces of Jeff Fisher and the Tennessee Titans, the troubled quarterback got back into the headlines for the wrong reason once again as he was involved in an altercation in a Texas strip club.
Reportedly, Young almost went to blows with someone at a strip club in Texas and as if that doesn’t sound bad enough in itself, there is a video that depicts exactly what happen behind the scenes.
Just like any other professional athlete that gets in trouble off the field, Young has said that he hopes he will not be punished by the league and can avoid suspension.
